It is with great sadness that the family of William Fenner (Billy), announces his passing into the spirit world.
After a lengthy illness, on the 30th of June, Billy began his journey home to be reunited with his mom and dad, his daughter, his sister and brothers and other family who had gone on before him.
Billy leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 39 years, Emily and their children Daniel and Thamer as well as grandchildren: Damian, Crystal, Bertina, and nine additional grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Billy also leaves behind brothers; Eric, Vern, James (Claudette), Charles, sisters; Julie, Sharon (Clive), Crystal (Barry) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Welcoming Billy home is his mom and dad, William and Lilian Fenner, daughter Amy Garson, sister Orianna Courchene, brothers Raymond Fenne and Fabian Fenner, brothers in law Frank Sinclair and Dave Courchene, sister-in-law Melody Fenner, nephews Greg and Ryan Sinclair.
Billy was born and raised in The Pas, Manitoba. He was educated there and worked primarily in the north. He spent some time working in the mines in Thompson and Flin Flon. Eventually he moved his family to Winnipeg when he took a job in the city. Billy will always be remembered as a hardworking man who wanted the best for his family. He will be deeply missed by many.
Honorary pallbearers ae his sons Daniel and Damien, his brothers Eric, Vern, James and Charles.
Services will be held on Tuesday July 9,2024 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. with a service to begin at 4 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals, 10-1111 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
