Vincent Troy Grieves

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vincent Grieves age 53 years on January 16,2025 at his residence.

Vincent aka Asharoy was a proud Bloodveiner who resided all his life in Bloodvein but moved to Winnipeg later in life due to health issues. He loved his card games and being with his family. He loved to the fullest. When his sister Matilda was in the hospital, he was by her bedside every day. He was always willing to help anyone in need, his heart was huge. He is survived by his siters Matilda Raven, Viola Sky, Phyllis Goosehead (Cigar), Grace, Francine, twins Arlene and Darlene, and Angie, brothers Laurie Goosehead, Brian Goosehead, and Wilfred Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred Goosehead and Margaret Young; sister Lydia Monkman and many other beloved relatives.

Vincent at a young age was raised by his aunt Mary Jane and Laurie Grieves whom from birth raised him as their own son.

Wake service will be held on Tuesday February 11,2025 from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue Wednesday February 12,2025 at Jordan Principal old school Bloodvein First Nation. Service will follow on Thursday February 13,2025 at 11 am. At Jordan Principal. Rev. Roy Moskotaywenene officiating. Interment to follow.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Bruce, Albert Raven Jr., William Young, Thomas Franklin, Bradley Scott and Terrance George (Ten Men).
