Victor Preston Wapach

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Wapach, who passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at Riverview Health Centre, surrounded by his loving family.

Victor was born on August 27, 1962, in Grandview, Manitoba. He has now joined the spirit world and is reunited with his beloved mother, Dorthy, and father, Leonard.

Victor was a devoted and loving husband to Wilma Wapach. Together, they built a strong and loving family, raising ten children and welcoming many cherished grandchildren. Victor was a pillar of strength, guidance, and support to his family and all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and the comfort and laughter he brought into the lives of others.

Victor faced cancer with courage and dignity. He enjoyed spending his time playing bingo, which brought him great happiness, and he shared a special bond with his beloved pets, Rex, Cuddles and Baby Cat, who were faithful companions.

Victor leaves behind his loving wife, Wilma; his children Tania, Craig, Curtis, Vanessa, Preston, Ashley, Matthew, and Chasity; as well as many grandchildren, best buddies Sheldon and James, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.

Wake service to be held on Thursday Feb. 19, 2026, from 7pm-11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave).
