Veronica Iris Pauline Zastre-Rupert

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister(sister), mother, aunty and auntie mum Veronica Iris Pauline Zastre-Rupert, born November 30th, 1990, in Winnipeg, MB, and suddenly passing on June 6, 2026.

She was predeceased by her daddy Lawerence Rupert and her grandparents from both her mom and dad's sides of the family.

She leaves behind to mourn her first born, her daughter, Brook-Lynne Taylor and her two sons Liam and Legend, her beautiful mother Marie (Liz), Rupert (Adam), seesters (sister's) Leona (Rob), Rosa-Leigh (Joshua), her Fancy (Francyne and Ocean), her big brother Robert (Madison) and her closest dearest best friend Jason Dutka.

She also leaves to mourn her mama Pearl and her son Tyler Bilsborrow (Brook-Lynne’s father and Veronica’s very first love), numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and her “father” Bernie Morriseau. Numerous and countless friends and friends who ended up becoming family.

Veronica was a beautiful, selfless, giving, caring and sincere friend, mother, sibling, daughter and soul!! During her life she touched countless people near and far whether she knew them or not. Her babies, Brook-Lynne, Liam and Legend were her whole life, whom she loved with her whole heart! She would go above and beyond to see her babies happy.

Veronica will be truly and deeply missed by her children, siblings, her mother and all who got to call her a friend.

Funeral service to be held on Monday June 29, 2026, from 3pm – 9pm, service to start at 6:30pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg MB).

Cremation to follow.
