Vernon Joseph Delorme

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vernon Joseph Delorme. Vernon passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit in Winnipeg, MB. Vernon was predeceased by his mother Thelma Desjarlais in 2022, his biological father Vernon Delorme Sr. 1994, stepfather Andre Desjarlais in 2018, and his sister, Joan Desjarlais in 2022. 

Vernon leaves to mourn his godfather Elie Desjarlais, brother Richard, sister Lorraine Kehler (Rudi), sister Claudette Delorme-Hinett (Dave), sister Wanda Delorme, sister Rosalie Wittemann and brother Andre Desjarlais (Charlene). Vernon had a daughter Kimberley (Selkirk, MB.) and a son, Jason (Vernon, B.C.). Vernon had numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family and friends who will miss him dearly. Vernon also leaves his partner, Adele Lavallee along with his cat, Oscar. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Eternal Grace Funeral Home, 1111 Logan Ave. and McPhillips St. on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM. followed by reception. 

Interment will be held at Assumption Cemetery 3990 Portage Ave. for those who would like to join the family. Please dress for the weather as it is an open area.
