It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tyler Bunn-Palmer at the age of 27 years old. He was born in Winnipeg, MB and raised in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation until his adult years where he later returned to Winnipeg.
Although this is so utterly heartbreaking and hard to believe, we take a little comfort in knowing that he is now with his young sister Natasha, grandmother Virginia Towell, grandfather Randall Palmer (Mary) and Great Grandfather Albert Bunn (Beatrice). Uncles, Langford (Esther), Russell, John (Phyllis), David, Charlie (Chuck), Stanley (Buddy) Beaulieu and cousin Taylor Dillon. As well as many more who he unfortunately hasn’t had the pleasure to meet.
Left to mourn are his parents Ken Palmer and Stephanie Bunn. Eldest sisters, Charmaine and Amanda, his young brother Adam, nephews Callum and Chance, Grandma Lynn Sawatzky (Corey). Aunties, Tina Palmer, Tanya McKinnon (Joe), Shirley, Helen, Stacey, Shannon and Ashley Beaulieu/Bunn and Cecilia Cote. Uncles Mike Palmer (Tina), Patrick Bunn (Ang), Richard, Wesley, Nathaniel Beaulieu, Stanley, Kenward and Ken Cote. Cousin Raelin Beaulieu whom he looked at as his brother. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who he loved so dearly and kept close to his heart.
Tyler was a kind and funny gentleman. As kids, he hung out with his friends, loved fishing with his parents, siblings and grandpa, as well as travelling the country with his dad. As he got older, he was usually pretty quiet, unless he was writing a ‘rap’ that he wants you to hear. He would stay up most nights writing his own songs and listening to beats. Even though he was quiet, he tried his very best to keep in touch with family and friends; it was just to let you know that he was thinking about you, especially those who he hasn’t seen in a while. He will forever be loved and missed; from the day we lost him and every single day moving forward.
As Tyler would say, ‘Much love and respect’.
