Tina Marie Cameron

The memory of Tina Marie Cameron, who passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 39 years will forever remain in the hearts of her children, family, and friends who were touched by her  presence in their lives. 

Tina was born December 9, 1984 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She is survived by her daughter Lauryn Asapace, son Shantih Assiniboine, and granddaughters Sariyah and Laelah.

She was loved and cherished by many people including aunty Elaine (Leonard) Houle; uncle Moses (Lacey) McKay; brothers Adam Cameron and Chad Scherban; Billy, James, Nathaniel, Cara, Thomas, and Ethan; extended family members:  Dan Scherban and Shaun Assiniboine; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Predeceased by her mother Gwendolyn (Bill) Cameron, grandmother Gloria (Wm. John) McKay, grandfather James Cameron; aunties Sylvia and Constance; uncles Victor McKay and Steven Cameron; sister Mandy Cameron; friends Mercedes and Todd; and pets Hushy Bum and Mooch.

Tina was a kind-hearted friendly person who grew up making her children and family her number one concern. It brought Tina joy knowing that she could take care of her children while still involving herself as a friend in the lives of those who she loved the most.  Tina made us laugh, and even if she found something negative, she would always try to make those things a bit easier for all of us.  She was adventurous, calm, and when someone needed to be defended, she stood up for them. Tina loved her family and her mother who she had a close bond with.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
