Stanley Zarazun Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family announces that on July 31, 2022, Stanley went to be with the Lord His Savior and be reunited with his son, Patrick. He passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital, with family at his side.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Joyce; daughter Brenda (Bill); Granddaughters Cherlyn (Jason) and Krysty; and his most adored great-grandchildren Liam and Quinn.  He also leaves to mourn his passing, sister Mary, brother Adam (Bev), as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Stan was predeceased by his son, Patrick; parents Joseph & Pauline; brothers Ed, John, Steven, Carl and Ernie; sisters Vicky, Josie and Agnes.

Stan was born and raised in Rama, Saskatchewan. In 1957, he married the Love of his Life, Joyce and moved to Winnipeg.  Stan and Joyce were loving and dedicated parents to Patrick and Brenda.  Stan worked at CIL Plastics for 15 years and then became employed as Manager of Boyle’s Budget Basket for 17 years.  He was a founding member of Holy Redeemer Parish and dedicated his life to God and church related functions.

Stan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was a kind and gentle man who loved everyone he met and was loved by all who met him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00am at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Special Thanks to Dr. Lage, staff on 3East at Concordia Hospital, Paramedics and Firefighters, Stan’s Home Care workers and Donwood EPH staff for their compassion and kindness.

Flowers are gratefully declined.  To honor Stan’s memory, love and care for your family and spread kindness wherever you go.  If friends so desire, donations may be made to Donwood Foundation (specify Donwood EPH) at donwoodmanor.org.
