Stanford Tyler (Cubby) Anderson

Stanford Tyler (Cubby) Anderson passed away unexpectedly on January 19,2025 at the St. Boniface Hospital age 29 years. Cubby was born on December 9,1995 in Winnipeg and resided there all his life. Cubby joins his niece Katelayah Anderson, grandparents Lynn and Anna Clark, Grandpa Riley Anderson and numerous relatives in the spirit realm of the afterlife.

He is survived by his loving parents Doris and Stanford Anderson, siblings Alana, Jennifer (Ricardo) and her 6 children. Also, by his beautiful daughter Desiray Anderson and uncle Quinn Clark.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, numerous nephews, and nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, grandma, great grandma.

Cubby’s last request before his passing was to leave this world not in a suit, but to be clothed in everyday clothes. He’d make jokes about the last time he wore a suit which was when he was 7 months old. He believed in the simplicity of life. He was always grateful and always expressed love by saying, “Life is short, you’ll never know when you’ll leave this world.”

He loved his family and daughter with all his heart. He cherished every moment spent with them. He will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will take place at 384 Talbot Avenue, Chief Cornerstone Church on Monday February 3,2025 at 7 p.m. Service will be on Tuesday February 4,2025 also at the church at  1p.m. Cremation to follow.

The Anderson family gives sincere thanks to all who stood by Cubby in his last years. We appreciate all the prayers, love, support and donations that were given and shown to our family during this difficult time.
