Psalm 16:9
“Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope.”
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Skeeter Paul who passed at the age of 55 years old. Though she is absent from the body she is present with the Lord.
Skeeter leaves to mourn her mother Beatrice Missyabit who she loved dearly as well as her husband Nilus Bruce of 31 years; her children Aaron, Nathan (Doris), Leroy (Chelsea), Shantelle, Lisa (Dylan), and Nilus Jr.; her grandchildren Jessy, Luke, Ezekiel, Zachariah, Veralynn, Nathan, Elijah, Ryheem, Avril, Taylor, Naanoo, Anung, and Nila; her brother Chris; Sisters Carol, and Margaret (Vincent); as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and many special family and friends who ment so much to her.
Skeeter was predeceased by her father Robert Missyabit; her grandma Vera Missyabit; along with her brothers Christopher Missyabit, and Bradley Anderson.
Skeeter loved her family very much and often expressed how grateful she was to have her husband Nilus in her life. Skeeter worked as a hair dresser most of her life after she graduated from R.B. Russel Vocational School and eventually went on to own her own place of business called Skeeters Unisex Hairstyling. Skeeter always talked about how much she loved her children and grandchildren she spent most of her time with them. She was always on the go and rarely home because someone was always in need of her help and she did it gladly with an open heart. Skeeter will always be remembered for all the good deeds that she did, and will forever be in our hearts and memories.
The family would like to thank the Deerlodge Medical Staff, all Medical staff who took care of Skeeter while she was in their care, Kirsti Knight from Public Guardian Trustee of Manitoba and the Lake Manitoba Chief and Council. The family would like to thank all the relatives and friends of both Skeeter and Nilus for the love and care they had for the family through all the difficult times. Also to Skeeter's home church for their endless prayers and support, especially Pastor Wayne Bustard for the countless video calls and times of prayer for both Skeeter and the family. The family Thanks You All.
