It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our Mom, grandma, and wife, Sheri-Lynn Parker on December 30 at the age of 54 at her home in the Brooklands area of Winnipeg. She leaves to mourn her loving partner of 21 years, Paul Lambkin; her children Blaine (Jeff), Steven (Chasity), Sabrina, Brandon, Shantel, Prestley and Skyelar, as well as grand-children Alexi, Cal, Kayden, Jax and baby Kieser who was born just 2 weeks prior to her passing. She also leaves to mourn, her father Henry, sisters Theresa (Jason) and Amanda (Brian) and brother Jason (Manda) along with many nieces, nephews and extended friends and family including her aunts Sally and Margie with whom she had a special bond with since she was a baby. She was pre-deceased by her mom, June Parker in 2010 and brother Matthew in 2019, as well as her grandparents Albert and Margaret Larsen.
Sheri-Lynn was born and raised in the Brooklands area of Winnipeg. Although Sheri-Lynn left Brooklands on several occasions throughout her life, it was always home to her, and she returned to live in the area multiple times throughout her lifetime. Sheri loved getting together with family and would often go out of her way to find an excuse to get her children and family together for an event or party. She also loved spending time out at the family property near Lac du Bonnet, where she made many special memories with her children and family over the years, including late night drives down “the animal road” at the end of the day.
As per Sheri-Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at Eternal Grace Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17 at 1:00 pm, 1111 Logan Ave @ McPhillips St. A private family internment will take place at a later date.
“A mother holds her children’s hands for a while but holds their hearts forever.”
Rest in peace mom. We love you and will miss you forever.
