It is with profound sadness that the family of Shelly May Sinclair announces her peaceful passing on February 12, 2026.
She leaves behind her daughter Christina, sons Noah and Xander, youngest daughter Svea. Grandchildren Skylove, Heavenly, Phillip. Her mother Sylvia Shorting, father Daniel Sinclair, brother Durwin Perry Sinclair, nephew Hayden Nepinak, nieces; Isabella Peters, Payton Peters, Marlena Peters, nephew Nathan (Kassie) Peters. Aunts; Maryann Pahl, Eleanor (Allan) McKay, Darlene Ross, Maxine Anderson, and extended family too numerous to mention, many cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Norman and Bella (McLean) Shorting, Phillip and Christina Sinclair. Uncles; Wilfred Thompson, Ernest Sinclair, Mark Sinclair, Allan Thompson, Reginald Thompson, Allan Shorting, Arnold Shorting, Robert Shorting. Aunts; Zelma Hunter, Dorothy Eastman, Olga Anderson, Sarah Thompson. Sister-in-law Pamela Peters.
Shelly touched the hearts of everyone she met throughout her life. She made a lot of friends wherever she went. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and going out on outings with them. They were her pride and joy. Shelly was kind, outgoing, and caring. She loved singing karaoke. At a very young age she used to love singing gospel songs with her dad, and her favourite gospel song was “here today, gone tomorrow.”

Wake service to be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 265 Flora Avenue, Kateri Church, Winnipeg, MB, from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Funeral service to be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. also at Kateri Church.
Lunch to be served prior to the Internment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
