Shaddai Shem Thomas passed away at the age of 25, leaving behind a silence that can never truly be filled.
Born on March 5, 2001, in The Pas and raised in Winnipeg, Shaddai lived life in his own way loud, funny, fearless, and full of heart. He was the kind of person people naturally gathered around. Whether it was his jokes, his energy, or the way he could turn an ordinary moment into a memory, Shaddai brought life wherever he went.
He had a carefree spirit that made people feel comfortable around him. He loved to laugh, make others laugh, and enjoy every moment as it came. To know Shaddai was to know someone who never pretended to be anyone other than himself.
More than anything, he was deeply loved by his family. He leaves behind his mom and dad, his two younger sisters, and his two younger brothers, who will forever hold onto his voice, his smile, and the memories they shared together.
Shaddai’s life was far too short, but the love he gave and the impact he left behind will stay with the people who knew him for the rest of their lives.
He will always be missed, always be loved, and always be remembered.
Shaddai’s pre-deceased by his grandparents Harvey & Betsy Ballantyne; his auntie’s Karen Ballantyne, Brenda Ballantyne, and Kelly Ballantyne; his uncles Melvin Ballantyne and Conrad Ballantyne.

"My son Shaddai -
Not enough time spent with you.. life cut short that meant a lot to me.
Dreams and visions not reached... oh how I longed to see your heart and soul reach its potential.
You were full of such passion for the things you loved. Left a memory for everyone who knew you.
So gifted with creativity and talent in many ways. A beautiful mind so intelligent.
My hope is that you will fulfill every plan that God intended for your life here on earth in the presence of God. His purpose will stand. So, until we meet again. In the age to come. To be in the presence of the Lord is what I wanted for you. In the presence of the Lord is fullness of joy.
- Love Mom."
