Santa Abrenica

Santa Abrenica, born on April 23, 1952, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was 73 years old.

Santa was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was known for her kindness, resilience, generosity and strength. Santa will be remembered for her honesty, sense of humour, adventurous spirit, bravery and being amongst the first to migrate to Canada from the Philippines, opening doors for future generations.

Santa is survived by her son Ace Don, daughter Sheila Lyn, granddaughter Andromeda Wolfe, son-in-law Christian, sister Lilia, brother-in-law Adriano, and nephew Andrew Nikko; together with the rest of her family and friends.

Santa is predeceased by her parents Melchor and Dionisia, and brother Simplicio.

Lamay will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 6PM-12AM at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 1PM at St. Edward’s R.C. Church. Interment Brookside Cemetery
