Sandra McMullen Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sandi McMullen at the age of 51 years.

Sandi is deeply missed and always remembered by her mother Joanne McMullen, sister Lisa McMullen, children Justin McMullen, Joshua Alguire and Zachary Alguire, niece Chantelle McMullen, daughter in-laws Tanisha, Brook and Nenah, grandchildren Annabella, Ezmae, Jeremiah, Serena and Ezra and of course all her many friends and cousins.

Sandi is predeceased by her father Chubby Orvis, brother Tony McMullen, granddaughter Athena Neveah Hazel, grandmothers Margaret (earl) McMullen and Marie Kennedy, grandfather George Albert McMullen, auntie Yvonne black and Cousin Jacquie black.

Sandi was a devoted mother and grandma. She often talked about how her sons were her rock. Throughout the hardships she faced, her boys have always been her motivation. She told many stories of when her boys were small. For most of her life, it revolved around her boys. As she watched her sons become fathers it made her immensely proud. Her grandchildren made her even more proud. She always made sure to spoil her grandchildren. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She could go on and on about her grandchildren at work. She carried extraordinary pride in her grandchildren and made sure everyone knew it. Her family was her place where she could be her most complete self. Her family was her soft place to fall, the place where she was reminded that no matter what happens, in the face of her deepest challenges, she is loved. Sandi’s sister Lisa was her built-in best friend for life. They shared parents, homes, pets, celebrations, catastrophes, and secrets. Lisa will always cherish their irreplaceable bond, shared memories, and constant companionship. Sandi’s motherly love was built on the foundation of her own mother’s love. Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing mother like Joanne. From laughter to tears, just like Joanne, Sandi was there for us all. Sandi was the glue to the family. She maintained emotional support, strong bonds, and connections between her family, often by ensuring family get-togethers were enjoyable and meaningful.

Sandi was a great nurturer, which is why she was so good at her job. Not only did she enjoy taking care of her kids and grandkids, but she also took care of the kids at work as well. That is just how Sandi was, loving, caring and kind. And we will always remember her and miss her deeply.

Sandi lived a good life filled with joy, laughter, and smiles. Even though she is no longer here to hold our hands, she is forever holding our hearts.
