Sandi spent over 30 wonderful years working for Palliser/DeFehr Furniture in Winnipeg. She received many commendations and awards including The Customer Care Excellence Award. Sandi was a consummate professional and gave 100% of herself to whatever she endeavoured whether personal or professional. Her love for life and animals was evident in all that she did, whether rescuing a baby squirrel, taking in a stray dog, travelling through the mountains, fishing, and canoeing. Sandi also adopted a Gorilla through the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and was an advocate and supporter of many causes that she believed passionately in. when she was able Sandi was always at John’s side, whether working in the shop, home projects, marching in the Labour Day parade, picket line or rallies in both Canada and the U S. Sandi’s presence and impact on all the lives she enriched will be sadly missed and will live on in our collective memories.
