Peacefully with her family by her side, our beloved mother entered into the presence of God, to her eternal home.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Denise, Gerald, Lydia, Geraldine, and Joanne; her grandchildren Christopher, Bridget, Jennifer, Stella, Crystal, Adrian, Melinda, Dustin, Leon, Elizabeth, Sheena, Jamie, Jessie, Chelsey, Chanel, Justine, Dean, Josh, and Kyle, as well as 25 great grandchildren; her sister Margaret; nieces Danielle, Destiny, and Shirli; nephews Charlie, Ricky, Calvin, Willie and Frankie; and many other relatives, many friends, and close friend Margaret.
Mom was born and raised at Indian Springs - Swan Lake MB. She attended the residential schools in Birtle and Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. In the late 1970’s, mom and dad moved to Winnipeg.
Mom was predeceased by her parents Tommy and Annie Cameron; our dad Daniel; infant son Ervin; daughter Janice; her son Maurice; grandchildren Cecile, Gerald Jr., Kevin, and Thomas; her brothers Ernest and Clifford; sisters Delores, Esther, and Hazel; and her niece Shirley.
Our mother had an unconditional love for all her loved ones, which we will cherish forever.
While her family gathered by her bedside, she shared her testimony that she believed in Jesus Christ. As she spoke, she said “Your dad is waiting for me.”
Mom was at peace during her last few hours with her family. As she gave her last breath, her soul entered in the presence of God and made Heaven her eternal home. Mom will no longer suffer from the pain in her body, and God shall wipe away all her tears.
The family would like to thank all those that came to be with the family at the Grace Hospital. Thank you to Chief & Council of Swan Lake and Pinaymootang, and to all the medical staff at Grace Hospital. Thank you for praying for the family.
