Roger Brian Traverse

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved brother, ROGER BRIAN TRAVERSE, age 59 passed on October 30, 2024. He was taken peacefully in his sleep by
the angels to be with our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. Roger was predeceased by our father, Stanley George Traverse, June 18, 2002 and our mother, Carrie Elizabeth Traverse, August 25,
2013. By his grandparents Charles and Harriet Traverse, and Rachel Murdock, his uncles: Alexander Traverse, Lawrence Traverse, Joseph Woodford, John and Stanley Spence, and Frank
McKay. His cousins: Darryl Traverse and John Woodford. A good friend Calvin Parenteau. He is survived by his sisters, Bonny Traverse, Beverley Traverse, Yvonne Abraham (Barry), his
brothers, Rocki and Darren Traverse, special nephew Rocki James Leigh Traverse (Jessica). Rocki loved him dearly and his uncle, Roger will be forever close to his heart; great nephew, Rocki
Leroy Roger Traverse and great niece, Victoria Rose Carrie Traverse. Nieces: Crystal Lamy (Darren), Charlene Spence, Vanessa Einarsson, Melody Traverse, Samatha Abraham, Carla
Bignell and Madison Stove. Nephews: Darren Bittern, George Traverse, Kyle Bignell, Derek Spence, Greg and Craig Abraham. Great nephews: Stanlee Anderson, Darrell Anderson and
great niece Irene Anderson. He also had 10 great nieces, 15 great nephews, and two great, great nieces. Aunts: Bernice McKay, Susan Travers, Eva Woodford and Margaret Traverse.
Traverse cousins: Sonia, Ida, Dean, Stewart, Langford, Clinton and Justin. Conrad Woodford, Denise Woodford, Michael Woodford and Glenda Traverse. Darryle, Michael, Sherisse McKay,
Lisa Traverse and Nadine Halcrow. Numerous cousins from Lake St. Martin, Koostatak, Sioux Valley, Jackhead, South Indian Lake and Winnipeg. Special Friends: Elric Wright, Chris Moffit
and Timothy Barron. Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Deliverance Centre, 1831 Selkirk Avenue from 6:00 p.m. – 10: 00 p.m.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 11 a.m., at the Deliverance Centre, 1831 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow the Funeral Service at Brookside
Cemetery.
A Feast will be held at the Deliverance Centre after the Burial Service. The Family would like to Thank Special Friends Pastor Ray Cornish, and Arina Vandenbrink.
Including family and relatives, sister Bonny Traverse and aunt Susan Travers, cousins Glenda Traverse and Denise Woodford who prayed for the family. As well as his cousin, Ida Traverse
whom he had a close relationship with and for all her support. Thank you to family members and friends that visited with the family to give their condolences. Acknowledgement to the
