It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger from Richer Manitoba.
I will love you and miss you always. You will forever be in my heart. It was Better to have loved you and lost you, than to have never loved you at all. With all my love. Your wife Irene.
It’s hard to say goodbye to someone I admired and loved so much. My Pepère was an amazing man, someone I looked up to, and still will with him gone. I know he’ll be watching over me because he lives on in my heart. My Pepère was and will forever be my hero. You fought bravely through your illness; now it’s time for you to be free from pain. Rest in peace Pepère. – Sammy
Roger Dodger. Breaker breaker one nine, 10:4 big buddy. We shared a lot of laughs together. Thanks for my blue cowboy hat. I love you, my brother-in-law. – Poupoun (Diane).
Roger, my dearest brother-in-law. You will be missed so much by everyone that got to know you. I Cookie especially, will miss all the good times we had with you, your wife, and I. I will never forget this certain time us three had when I was at your place and we were having drinks. Irene and I drinking vodka and orange, you drinking rye. You laughed and laughed when I had one too many, you and Irene had to get Annette to come pick me up. You and Irene laughed so much to see how hard it was to get me from the house to inside of the truck. You always said that you never laughed so much. You made everyone laugh and feel happy. I will forever miss you, Roger. Love your sister-in-law. – Cookie.
I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.
Cremation has already taken place. A service will be announced at a later date.
