Robert Howard Bear

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bobby Bear on March 30, 2023.

Bobby leaves to mourn his wife Simone; his sons, Nicholas, and Teddy; and his daughters Alerina Green (Tony), Jayda, and Baby Luna; grandchildren, Scott, Tegan, Payson, Duke, and Adeline; his brothers Edgar (Eileen), and Dwayne (Stephanie); his nephews, Edgar Bear (jr), Tyler Hudson, and Travis Hudson; nieces Sangina , Angel. Serenity, and Avery; his in-laws the Lavallee family; aunt Christina (Russell) Sinclair and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Mary Bear; and his parents Irene and Victor Berens; niece Jenny Bear; cousin Conway Bear whom he grew up with. Uncle Maurice Bear; and aunts, Gloria Swain, Martha Mckay, Irma Goosehead, and Clara Swain.

Bobby lived life to the fullest, his pride and joy were his children. He looked after his wife Simone with great love and care. Bobby was a hard worker and would always be there when he was needed. Bobby loved taking care of his cats. 

Bobby gave his heart to the Lord and accepted Jesus as his personal saviour. He never complained about being sick. Bobby enjoyed his work at the Berens River sub office where he will greatly be missed. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Staff of the Berens River Sub office as well his seventh day Adventist church family. 

The family would like to thank the Berens River Chief and Council, Riverview Staff Palliative Care Unit as well cousins Bob and Cheryl Swain who always checked on Bobby.

Wake service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 7pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace funerals.

Wake services will continue on Monday, April 3, 2023, and Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Berens House of Prayer.

Service will follow on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 12 noon, also at the House of Prayer, with Pastor Dwayne Bear officiating.
