Richard Scott Obituary

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend.

Fonz leaves behind his loving children Adrian Moneyas (Jamie), Pamela Scott (Thomas), Charity Seymour (Wallace), Jonah Scott (cheyenne), Rheyanne Moneyas (Bradley), Rochelle Moneyas, Donovan Moneyas (Raena).

His Grandchildren: Jacey, Natalie, Dean, Sequioya, Kristin, Gage, Taneisha, Taya, Austin, Peyton, Jack, Lyndon, Elly, winterm, Billie-Anne, Margaret, Dylan, Maylynn, Isabella, Yvonne, 

Great Grandchildren: Grayson and Milaynna.

Siblings: Edwin Scott (Yvonne), Sylvia Scott, Norman Scott Sr.(Kim).

He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Verna Scott;  brothers Rodney Scott, and Gordon Scott; sisters Barbara wood, Florence Turtle, and Pauline Black; infant sons Joshua Scott, and Dylan Moneyas; grandparents Florence and John Bushie, Lucy and Isaac Scott 

Fonz will also be remembered by his second family who he was close to: Gary and Doris Desjarlais (family) and Margaret Ost (Family).

He was a loving father to his kids and grandkids who he cherished with all his heart. Fonz worked every day of his life from rice picking to heavy machinery which was his main line of work. His last work place was working for Hanslip Excavation and Demolition before he got sick. He was very dedicated to work and always had to be working even through his battles with his illness. Fonz was also an active baseball player in his younger days and played for the Hollow Water panthers.

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Boniface Hospital for the care you provided for our dad.

 

Wake Services at Hollow Water First Nation Band Hall beginning Friday September,9th, 2022

Funeral Service Monday September, 12th,2022 at 1pm

Cremation to follow at a later date.
