Richard was born April 9,1969 in Winnipegosis the youngest of 12 children of loving parents Raymond and Annie Catcheway. Richard spent part of his early life at Pine Creek.
Richard loved to play ice hockey. He frequently attended Rossbrook House when he moved to Winnipeg. He is best friends with Elmer Moar (Amy’s Godfather and Uncle). They were work out buddies.
Richard is predeceased by his Father Raymond Catcheway, Mother Annie Catcheway, brothers Jack, Leo and Conrad, sisters Mirriam, Gloria and Mildred.
Left to mourn is his only daughter Amy Ann, brothers Larry, Ronald and Ivan, sisters Nancy and Thelma, with regards many of his nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
His grandbabies Steven, Christopher and only granddaughter Ava Ann.
A wake will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday October 17,2024 at Eternal Grace Funerals with a service beginning at 6 p.m.
Cremation to follow.
