Richard Bird Obituary

Richard entered the spirit world on Saturday April 6, 2019 at the Health Science Centre age 49 years surrounded by his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Cara Hughes; children Ricky (Janine), Colleen (Michael), Richard, Dillan and Lyndon; grandchildren Katelynn, Ricky Jr., Montana, Sage, Dreden, Coen, Amaya, Carson, Michael Jr., Dream; sisters Georgina, Maria (Astley), and Michelle (Earl); brother Allan; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Richard was predeceased by his parents Richard Chaske, Doris Chaske; brother Conrad Bird; nephew Donald (Junior) Linklater; brother in law Moe.

Pallbearers: Ricky, Kelly, Allan, Leroy, Les, Derek, Quinton and Terry.

Wake service will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 from 6pm – 12 midnight at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave at McPhillips St. Traditional wake service will continue Friday April 12, 2019 at 4pm from Dakota Tipi First Nation gaming centre. Feast will begin at 12 noon on Saturday April 13, 2019 with final services commencing after the feast. Cremation to follow.
