Richard Bruce Andrews born on April 27, 1979, has passed peacefully on Sunday April 19, 2026, in his home.
Richard leaves behind his siblings Edna, Larry, Darren, and Christopher.
Richard is predeceased by his mother Rhoda; brothers Brian and Billy; aunties Margaret, Shirley, Joan, and Barbara; his uncles Wesley and Lawrence; his nieces Naomi, Norma, Desiree, Destiny, and Ara; his nephews Dallas and Brendan; his cousin Stephanie; and his grandparents Henry & Ellen Okemow.
Richard was raised in Manto Sipi all his life. Richard was a very gentle, kind, and humble man. He was loved by his family and friends, why they loved to hangout and visit him. Richard was always very helpful and willing to give people anything even when he had nothing. He was a very compassionate and warm-hearted person; Richard will be missed dearly by all his family, friends and community.
Wake service to be held on Sunday April 26, 2026, from 7pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).
Wake services will continue Monday April 27, 2026, and Tuesday April 28, 2026, at the Late Richard Andrews residence in Manto Sipi Cree Nation.
Funeral service to be held on Wednesday April 29, 2026, at 11am, at the Manto Sipi Community Church.
Officiating service will be Pastor Marcel Okemow.
Interment to follow at the Manto Sipi Cree Cemetery.
