Rev. Deacon Walter Knysh

Gigi passed away on Tuesday March 30,2021 at Holy Family Nursing Home, Baba passed away on Saturday May 29,2021 at the Health Sciences Centre.

We the family always called them Baba and Gigi, and never mom and dad. They lived their lives, as they passed on with dignity and grace. They were the best parents who gave unconditionally. The greatest gift they left us was their faith, and love for Jesus. They always said, “with God you have everything without God you have nothing.”

They leave to cherish their memory daughter Mary, 3 sons Nick, John and Mike and their respective families.

AS we had a private family service for Gigi, we will have a private service for Baba. She will be interred at Holy Family Cemetery beside her beloved husband Rev. Deacon Walter Knysh. Following all Covid-19 restrictions.

We the family would like to thank Rev. Fr. B. Lukie for giving them their last rites and conducting their services. Thankyou to the Basilian Fathers for being dear friends to our parents. Special thankyou to Sister Darlene, Linda, and Brenda of Holy Family for all you did by getting them to reside at Holy Family Home, could not have done it without your guidance and help. Special heart felt thanks to the entire staff of Sacred Heart, the love, care, and patience you had for our parents will never be forgotten.
