Renee was born in Winnipeg Manitoba. She was mainly raised in Winnipeg, then briefly raised in Fisher River Manitoba. As a child and as an adult, Renee left a lasting impression with her big, brilliant yet shy smile and humble, introverted personality. She had a gracious, generous, and loving way about her. In her mid-adult years, she settled in Toronto Ontario, a city she loved and made her home. She made many good friends and led a good life.
Renee entered the workforce at the age of 16 at the old McDonalds on Portage Ave and Langside St. She attended St. John’s High School. She continued to work at various jobs and sought further education. She obtained a GED and schooling in finance. Renee was most recently employed with the city of Toronto in Finance.
Renee leaves us to lovingly remember her legacy of courage, strength, love, hope, forgiveness, and faith. We carry her memory in our hearts until we meet again. Her favorite childhood gospel song was The Nicodemus Song, based on John 3:1-21.
“Jesus said to Nicodemus, except a man be born again, he cannot enter in the kingdom, so be sure about your soul, my friend.”
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
