Priscilla Ann Hardisty

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunty, niece, cousin, and friend.

At the age of 66 Priscilla Ann Hardisty passed away on July 30,2021 to join her parents, the late Frank and Annabella Moneyas; daughter Andrea, brother Brian; nephews Allister, and Riley Jr., niece Samantha; granddaughters Alicia, and Averly; grandson Jerome.

Priscilla a.k.a BIG MAMA leaves behind her husband of 48 years Henry Hardisty); daughters Michelle (Ray, Patricia (Keith), Aurillia (Ted), Romona, Melanie (Cliff), Wendy (Gerald), Robyn, Amber, Santana, Jennifer; her only son Leon (Shayle).

Her brothers Joe (Delores), Mike, Robbie; sisters Arlene (Kevin), Shirley, and Gloria.

Big Mama also leaves behind her very special side kicks granddaughters Desarae; Amarrie, and Neveah who were always right beside her.

Priscilla leaves behind 56 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren.

Our Mom was a very outgoing woman with a great big heart, always willing to help anyone. She always had her door open to anyone in need. Big Mama loved to spend all her time with her grandchildren, they meant the world to her. Anyone who knew Big Mama knows how she had a big sense of humor, and loved to joke around, what made our mother so special was her big heart.

We would like to thank H.S.C NICU staff for doing their best to keep our mother comfortable. Also, a big thankyou to our uncle Buck, aunty Angie and family, aunt Lucy and uncle Kevin, councillors Geof Bushie, and Maurice Williams.

Wake service will be held at Patricia and Keith’s home in Hollow Water on Thursday August 12,2021. Funeral service will be held on Monday August 16,2021 also at Patricia’s home. She will be laid to rest by her daughter at the Anglican Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Moneyas, River Everette, Michael Boulette, Edward Courchene, Theodore Berens Jr., O’Neil Moneyas, Brendon Moneyas and Everette Peters Jr., cross bearer Angus Berens.

Honorary pallbearers are all her grandchildren; her best friends Wilma Williams, Bernie Hardisty, Gloria Flett, Lenore McKay, Sylvia Scott, Dorothy Bear, Rose Traverse, Vicki Cook and Jordan Ross.
