It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Priscilla Mildred Fitzgerald (Miskoomin). A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished friend. Priscilla aged 68, left this world peacefully September 3rd, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Priscilla Mildred George born and raised in Berens River, Manitoba made her way to Winnipeg where she would meet her other half Jerome Fitzgerald who made his way across Canada from Newfoundland. From humble beginnings they built a life together. She filled their home with warmth, love, laughter and the aroma of her soups and stews that we all will miss. Her home became a sanctuary for all she took in. She raised two beautiful Great grand-daughters Lily and Salem for as long as she could whom she called her babies. Priscilla’s legacy of love will live on through family and all who were fortunate enough to know her, as she leaves behind a family that will carry her spirit forward, cherishing the countless memories they created together.

She leaves to mourn her husband Jerome. Daughters Tami (Jay) and Tanya (Chris). Her Grand-daughters Jasmin, Dakota, Jade, Shanti, Sage, Tiarra, Anika, Nevaeh, Ryleigh and Alyssa. Her great grand-daughters Lily, Salem & Rhiannon. She lived to see her first great grand-son James Jerome. She is also leaving behind a large extended family consisting of brothers, sisters that she loved and cherished, in-laws across the country, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins also countless friends she made through life’s journey.

She is predeceased by her dad Norman, mom Clara, sisters Pam (Nora) & Verena, brother Roy in early childhood and the many that have left before her.
