Oswald Roderick Ross

Oswald Roderick Ross was born in Berens River, MB on the 14th of December 1952.  He and his Mother Dorothy Ross shared the same birthday.

Roderick’s (Roddy) parents were Dorothy Ross from Berens River and his father was William Roderick Ross (BIll) from Norway House, MB.

Roddy is survived by his children; son Roderick Ross (Loretta), daughter Melody Bouchie (Clarence) and their mother Eileen Whiteway  and daughter Stacey Spence.and stepson Andrew Spence.
Sister Nora Ross(John), brothers Arnold (Violet), Irvin and Wilfred Green(Rita) and his
Special friend Blanche Hudson.

Roddy is survived by 9 grand children Tim, Julie, Clarissa, Clarke, Abraham, Peter, April, Tyrell and Ava. Also 4 great grand children Curtis, Kyllen,Alex and Auriellia.

Roddy is survived by brothers; Arnold (Joe) Ross (Violet); brother Irvine Ross; sister Nora Ross (John), brother Wilfred Green (Rita)

Roddy was an easygoing and humble person that made many friends wherever he went. Roddy worked at many things from being a fishing guide, construction worker and working at the INCO mine and as a licensed security officer.
Roddy loved spending time with family and friends. He kept in close contact with his siblings and daily task with his big sister Nora whom he would lovingly refer to as CKY (news).
Roddy enjoyed cooking and looking after his grandchildren.
Wake service will be at the Berens River United Church October 26, 2023, from
6 pm to 11pm.
and at the Deliverance Centre 1831 Selkirk Ave Winnipeg, MB. October 27, 2023 from 6 pm to 11:00 pm.

Funeral service will be at the Deliverance Centre 1831 Selkirk Avenue October 28, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Interment will be at the St. Clements cemetery following the funeral service.
