June 26, 1986 – February 3, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter and sister Nicole “Cozy” McDiarmid at home on February 3, 2024 at the age of 37.  Nicole is predeceased by her son Liam, her mother Loretta McDiarmid, and her grandparents Katherine and Douglas McDiarmid.  She leaves behind her father Jim Thomas, brothers Nicholas McDiarmid and Mathew McDiarmid, nieces: Morgan, Kelly, and Makayla, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nicole adored children and loved spending time with the little ones in her extended family.  She was universally loved by children and animals as only the best people are.  Her sweetness and generosity made her a fantastic aunt and friend, always ready to help with childcare or pet sitting.  Nicole’s Most recent employment in respite work was a perfect fit for her caring nature ad she enjoyed the challenges of supporting vulnerable children.  Her unexpected passing from cardiac complications leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.  Cozy, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.  Rest in peace. 

Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 16, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at Eternal Grace Funerals.
