Nicky Marie Louise McKay

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Nicky Marie Louise McKay, at the age of 26 years old. Nicky passed at home in Selkirk in her residence on July 21, 2025.

She is survived by and will be fondly remembered by, her mother Roxanne McKay, grandma Sharon, Grandpa John R. Ross, grandparents John and Dora Berens, Nicky’s biological father – Terrance Ross and stepmother Dedri Ross. Her brothers Nathanlle, Cameron, Samuel, Aiden, Tristan, Ishiah, and Jarrell. Her sisters Allanna, Adison, and Arriana. Her dearly loved uncles George, Kevin, John Jr., and Lionel, and aunties, Tracy, Crystal, and Shaylene. As well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, that she loved, and many more uncles, aunties, and the Hudson Family that she adored so much.

Nicky is predeceased by her grandparents, Albert Boucher, Mary Jane Boucher, Ambrose Hudson, Jean Hudson, Beatrice Ross, James R. McKay, her nephew Isaac Flett, auntie Cynthia, and Uncle Marlon.

Wake Service will be held on Wednesday 30th, 2025, from 7pm – 10pm, at Eternal Grave Funerals 10 – 1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg MB.

Thursday July 31st, 2025, from 7pm – 11pm at the United Church in Berens River First Nation.

Funeral Service will be Friday August 1, 2025, from 11am – 4pm, at the United Church in Berens River as well.
