Myrtle Elizabeth Boyes

It’s with great sadness the children of Myrtle Mary Elizabeth Boyes, announce her passing January 20, 2025, at Baldur, Mb. Myrtle was born August 29, 1933, at Russell Manitoba. She was raised in the Bowsman, Lady Hubble areas of Manitoba. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents Glen and Adele Thompson. Her husband Donald Boyes, sons Curtis Boyes and Clarence Parenteau. Her granddaughter Adele Klyne. Her sisters, Donna Sokoluk and Marlene Wilson. Her brothers Clifford Thompson, Gordon Thompson, James Thompson and Glen Thompson. She is survived by her children Joseph Parenteau (Cecile), Christine Merasty (Raymond) and Mary Schmidt. Her grandchildren Joseph Parenteau (Allyson), Tammy Cooper, Redene Stump, Tyler Parenteau, Kristy Young, Dylan Boyes and Keenan Boyes. Great grandchildren Kaycee,Teejay, Karson, Azara, Harlee and Shianne. Many nieces and nephews. Also, the many children she fostered over the years on the farm at Bowsman, Manitoba. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Grace Funerals. Myrtle has chosen cremation. Burial will be announced at a later date in Bowsman. The family would like to thank the Baldur Personal Care Home, Baldur, Manitoba, for their wonderful care of our Mother and their contribution to her happiness in her final years. Donations may be made in Myrtle’s memory to The Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada.
