Michael Moneas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Michael ( Mike/Grease).
Mike was a brother, uncle, Friend and best friend to many.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Frank and Annabella Moneas, adopted father Phillip Moneyas, sister Priscilla, brothers Brian Sr. , Joseph (joe) his nephews Dylan, Allister, Derek, his nieces Andrea , Brittany also one of his best friends Richard (Fonz).
Micheal leaves behind his boys Laurie jr (Vanda), Donavan (Reana) , John Tristan (Syreen) , Sisters Arlene (Kevin) , Shirley, Gloria, Brother Robbie (Calvin). His adopted family Mom Lorraine, brother Wayne , sisters Maureen, Angie, Kandis and Bernie, also his best friend Ray Everette, as well as many other close friends and family members.
Greece loved to go fishing , watching hockey , baseball and curling. He also loved going out firefighting that’s where he made his memories and stories up.
Greece loved his community of Hollow Water where he was born and raised.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Sunnywood Care Home in pine falls.
We also like to thank everyone for there prayers and kind words .

Wake Services will be held from Friday March 15, 2024 until Monday March 18, 2024 at the Hollow Water Band Hall.  Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 2pm also from the Band Hall.  Rev Norman Meade officiating.  Interment in the Anglican Cemetery.
