Matilda Naomi Jasmine Flett

It is with deep sadness that we share her sudden passing on Friday, December 5, 2026, taken from us far too
early at age 47.

She leaves her loving son Jeremiah Ashton Flett and her partner Jeremy Green, her boys Drake and Lorne Green.

She leaves parents Lionel & Lou, and Jim, sisters Rosie (Mike), Cathy (David), Serena, Eren (Scott), and
Jeremiah's father Leon Flett (known as Mugoon), and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, godchildren too numerous to name, who were also very important in her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved mother Dorothea, and by her little brother Christopher, her Esquash grandparents, and her Mason grandparents, and again many aunts and uncles.

Jasmine lived and travelled to many places where she met so many of her friends and colleagues. Everywhere she went, she built community and connection with those lucky enough to know her.

She often said she was happiest at Ceremony, where her love for sewing shined through.

She loved to tease but was the first one to offer help when it was needed.

She found joy in the small things.

Jasmine, you are forever missed and loved!

Wake service will take place Thursday Dec. 11, 2025, from 7pm – 10pm, at Kateri R.C. Church (265 Flora Ave. Winnipeg MB).

Wake service will continue Saturday Dec. 13, 2025, at 7pm, at the Cultural Centre in Swan Lake First Nation.

Funeral Service will take place on Sunday Dec. 14, 2025, at 11am, also at the Cultural Centre in Swan Lake.

Interment to follow at Mariapolis Cemetery.
