Mary Joyce Berens

                Mary Joyce Berens age 57 years passed away on January 3,2026 at the Grace Hospital.

                She was predeceased by her mother Georgina Berens (1979); father Alexander (Mac) Berens (1999); only brother John George Berens (2005); sisters Geraldine “Buckaroo” Swain (2014), Colleen Bradburn (2014), Doris Berens (2015), Helen Felix (2021) and Christine Shorting (2024), numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

                Mary is survived by her two sisters that will sadly miss her Sarah Cook and Marilyn Sinclair; long time friend Donnie; auntie Dolores Berens; numerous nieces and nephews whom she grew up with like siblings; numerous cousins and friends.

                Wake service will be held on Thursday January 15,2026 from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at the Deliverance Church 1831 Selkirk Avenue. Wake service will continue Friday January 16,2026 and Saturday January 17,2026 at 7 p.m. nightly at the Berens River United Church. Funeral service will follow on Sunday January 18,2026 at 12 noon also from the church. Rev. Roy Bouchie officiating. Interment to follow.
