Mary Stella Chastellaine

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Chastellaine at the age of 79. Mary was a loving Grandmother, Mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She passed away January 11, 2020, surrounded by her family at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg, Mb. Mary grew up in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation, where she resided until she married and moved to Winnipeg Manitoba.

Mary lived a life filled with many adventures, she loved to travel, go to yard sales and she loved her Bingo, but her greatest love was her grandsons’ whom she adored. Mary had a great sense of humor, she loved to joke and tease

Mary was predeceased by her parents: Lena and Ronald Prince, Husband Walter Chastellaine, common-law partner Alvin Budd. Bothers:  Reginald, Albert, Benson, Kenneth and George

Sisters: Dorothy and Helen.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Crystal Prince, grandsons’ Ryan Prince, Jordan Prince, Curtis Peters, daughter Marlie Prince, sons: Cory Prince, Robert Prince and numerous great- grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Wake service will be held on Monday January 20, 2020 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips St. Wake service will continue Monday January 20 at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Centre. Begining at 7 p.m.

Funeral Tuesday January 21, 2020 at 2 p.m. also at the Centre
