It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Martina Bouchie on June 11, 2026, at the Grace Hospital at the age of 47 years old.
Martina spent most of her life in Winnipeg, but she was originally from Berens River, Manitoba.
Martina leaves behind her common-law of 8 years Lee Jowett; her children Dawn Gagnon, Toni Gagnon, Martina Bouchie and Erin Bouchie. She also leaves behind her 2 sisters, Bridget Patrick and Susan Bouchie; her special closest niece Bianca Patrick and her best friend Army.
Martina was predeceased by her parents Martin Bouchie and Theresa Mary Green; her Twins; and her Sisters Stephanie Bouchie and Daphne Chief.
She was a very creative woman, she was always funny, liked to joke around, loved to fix things and loved her sisters. She was a loving mother and loved her common-law spouse, Lee.
She will be deeply missed and remain forever in our hearts.
Wake Service will be held on Friday June 26, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the Deliverance Centre (1831 Selkirk Ave. Winnipeg, MB).
Wake Service to continue in Berens River at the United Church Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28, 2026, from 7pm - 11pm.
Funeral Service will be held on June 29, 2026, at 11:00 am, also at the United Church.
Officiating will be Rev. Roy Bouchie.
Pallbearers: Army G, Ed Anderson, Lawson Baptiste, Percy Bouchie, Lee Jowett, and Darcy Hudson.
