It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marc Siméon Jacques on Thursday, March 31st, just shy of his 74th birthday.
He leaves to mourn his wife Barb Jacques; as well as his children Patrick (Krista) of Calgary and their children Simon and Caitlyn, his daughter Natalie of Winnipeg, stepdaughter Heather (Kyle) and their daughters Kayla and Saige, and his stepson Kevin (Jolene) and daughters Kailyn and Jocelyn; he also leaves to mourn his passing his brothers and sister Marcel (Vivian) of Calgary; René (Huguette) of Vancouver; Guy (Jackie) of Camrose; Lorraine (Terry) of Savanah, Georgia; Paul (Charlene) of Vancouver; Laurent (Shirlee) of Winnipeg; Charlie (Jacqui) of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Marc was predeceased by his parents Antonin and Yolande Jacques.
Marc was born in St-Boniface, Manitoba on 10 April 1948 and lived in Lorette, Manitoba, he then later moved to Winnipeg. Throughout the years, he worked for Boeing and more notably, he worked for Canada Post as a Letter Carrier for 30 plus years until his retirement.
Throughout the years, Marc was involved in many activities including being a coach for the YBC (Youth Bowling Council) where he was a coach for many, many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Cremation has taken place and a service will take place at a later date. A very special thanks to Eternal Grace Funeral Home for helping us out in our time of need.
