Louisa Bernadette Pickell (nee Guimond)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, Louisa at the age of 68 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Mary Guimond; sisters Emilina & Sandra Guimond; brother Henry Guimond; and great-grandson Hunter Guimond.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Michael Pickell; children Sonya (Donny) Beaulieu, Chauncey (Tina) Guimond, Selena (Shawn) Guimond, Sabrina, Sara, and John Guimond; her siblings Eileen, Clement and Sam Guimond; along with her grandchildren Tylor, Tiffany, Trevor, Anthony, Emma, Tianna, Amber, Samantha, Lexxus, Isabella, Brooklynn, Ocean, Ashley, Sebastian, Eric, Keisha, Nikita, Madeline, and Leandra; her great-grandchildren Scarlett, Aleczander, Summer, Raine, Hazel, Harmony, Elijah, Sage, and Peyton; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She enjoyed spending time with family, she was especially happy to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louisa had a big heart, she was caring, supportive, and giving. Those are the many things our mother was, she will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.

Wake service to be held on Thursday June 25, 2026, from 6pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).

Cremation to follow.Our family would like to thank all the doctors & nurses at St. Boniface Hospital on the 5th floor in the ACC unit.
