It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sister, Lillian at 78 years of age. Lillian was a great grandmother, grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, godmother & friend.
Lillian lived her life on her own terms and left an undeniable impression on everyone who knew her. She leaves to mourn her daughter Cherelle; her grandchildren, Asannie Starr, Autumn Spotted Eagle, and Nathan Spotted Eagle; and her great-grandchildren, Aleyah Chartrand Starr and Acer Spotted Eagle. She is also survived by her brother, Frank (Valerie); her sister, Dianne; as well as her nieces May, Cecilia (Daniel), Darlene, Denise (Court), Kimberly, Agnes, and Cynthia; and her nephews Peter, Sydney, Kelly, and Kristopher.
Lillian will reunite in peace with her parents, George and Agnes Starr; her common-law partner, Peter Germaine; her sisters, Betty and Freda; her brothers, John, Elmer, and Lawrence; her brother-in-law, Walter; her nephews, Elmer Jr., Nathan, Keith, and Tony; her nieces, Mychelle, Elizabeth, Agnes, Margaret, Marilyn, and Theresa; her great-nieces, Betty Ann and Kiauna; and her great-nephews, Lawrence, Walter, Laurence, and Curtis.
Honorary Pall Bearers: Nathan Spotted Eagle, Peter Henderson, Tyler Henderson, Cory Henderson, Donovin Henderson, and Dylan Henderson.
Prayers & Wake to be held on Friday June 19, 2026, from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Avenue. Winnipeg, Manitoba).
Funeral service to be held on Saturday June 20, 2026, from 11:00am – 2:00pm, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.
Cremation to follow.
