Leslie James Travers

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leslie James Travers on April 20, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. Leslie was a beloved brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He will be deeply missed by his 3 children, William Hope, Sabrina Prince, Leslie Jr Prince; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; his brother Jacob Travers; sisters Lillian Bird, Hilda Hornbrook, Agnes Travers, and Rosemary Travers; Sisters raised by his parents Rebecca Sinclair and Eileen Petrie. Along with many family members, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Leslie was predeceased by his parents Margaret Travers, and James Travers; brothers Gerald Travers, and Langford Travers; sisters Mabel Thomas, Caroline Felix, Edith Travers, Sarah Travers, Shirley Traverse, Barbara Travers, and Georgina Travers.

Wake service will be held on Thursday May 2,2024 from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Funeral service will follow on Friday May 3,2024 at 12 noon also at the chapel. Interment Brookside Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff, doctors, and nurses of Palliative care at St. Boniface Hospital for making Leslie’s final days peaceful.
