It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, and son Leslie Burl Orvis Jr. aka Folla on July 5,2020 in Bloodvein River, MB with family by his side.

Folla leaves to mourn his passing his partner, the love of his life his wife Lillian Orvis of 27 years but were together 30 plus years; his children Phillip, Jamie (Allison), Henry, Angela, Abigal, Faith, and his baby girl Alvina; grandchildren Arianna, Alianna, Noah, Abel, and Emmett; his father Leslie H. Orvis Sr.; father in law Peter Scott; siblings Cheryl (Ronnie), Joyce(Larry), Nina, Peter(Noella), Edwin, Brendan(Chelsea), Matilda (Albert Sr.), Viola, Elaine (Charlie), Illa(Francis), Rachal (Clayton); sister in law Alvina (Lloyd); brother in law Fabian (Sharon); and everyone that loved and cared for him.

Folla was predeceased by his mother Doris Orvis; mother in law Linda Green; grandparents Jim and Nina McKay; Peter and Florence Orvis; 2 children Dora Orvis 2019 and an unborn baby in 2005; brothers Oliver McKay, Ben Orvis, and Henry Orvis; sister Christine McKay; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and close friends who all have gone home.

Folla was a hard-working man, who always made sure his family had everything they needed. He worked as a fisherman’s helper in his younger years, then he started to drive the grater on the winter roads. His favorite pastime was baking with his daughter Abby for our get togethers. He was the life of all our family get togethers. He always made sure everyone had a bite to eat, and that everyone was having a good time. Folla loved to joke around, he was our family comedian. He always played pranks on his wife and children. His proudest accomplishments in life were his children that he and his wife Lillian raised.
