Leonard Jonathan Mekanak

Leonard Mekanak age 44 years passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 14, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Mary Jane; children Brandon-Lee Roy, DJ, Moses, and Mary Clair; mother Lydia McKay and father John Mekanak; 6 grandchildren Evelyn,  Darius, Dravon, Khalita, Acen, and Faith; sisters Lisa Mekanak, and Ruth Mekanak; twin brothers  Lanny and Lee Mekanak; numerous other relatives, and friends.

Leonard was predeceased by his mother-in-law Irene Winter; grandmother Priscilla McKay;grandparents Allen and Bella Mekanak.

Wake service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 7:30pm – 10:30pm at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 12 noon at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brandon, Lee, DJ, Moses, Monty, Preston, Braden, and Lanny.

 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
