Larry Harold Sinclair

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Larry Harold Sinclair at the age of 69 years on October 6,2023 at his residence.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children Larry Jr. Richard, Norman Richard, Cheyenne Desjarlais (Stephan), Candace Desjarlais, Janine Desjarlais, and Juanita Desjarlais; grandchildren Augustao, Raylene, Faylene, Arryssa, Faron Jr., Chase, Jared, Leah, Leo, Riel, Trenton, Veronica, Melissa, Serena, Lyric, Corydon, Desirae, and Tristan; sisters Linda Stove, Audrey Sinclair and Kim Sinclair; brothers Lyle Sinclair, Greg Sinclair and Ian Sinclair; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his father Norman Robson November 19,1983, Mother Edna Sinclair July 20,2023, son Leonard August 28,2017, brothers Norman Sinclair and Michael Sinclair.

My Dad started working at the age of 15 years at Acme, Laidlaw, Canadian Waste and Emterra. He enjoyed working with Dave, Charlie, Vance and Bernie. His boss was Jules, and he was a role model to all his brothers. His passion was working, and he loved rice picking with his uncle Lawrence Smith (aka0 Happy and Satch, Marvin, and the Smith guys. He also enjoyed fishing on the lake with Stanley Flett and Kenny Flett. He loved working outdoors.

He lived in British Columbia (Vancouver) for 2 years and loved it out there. He eventually moved back to Winnipeg. Larry loved playing bingo with his daughters, sisters, and brothers. He loved to watch sports, especially hockey and football. His favourite music was country music and he loved Bob Seger, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Lorrie Morgan, George Straight and Keith Whitley, but gospel music was his favourite.

Wake service will be held on Saturday October 28,2023 from 6 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue Sunday October 29,2023 at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Hall in Brokenhead beginning at 7 p.m. Service will follow on Monday October 30,2023 at 2 p.m. also at the hall, Rev. David Sinclair officiating. Interment at the Anglican Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Flett, Harry Williams, and Richard Sinclair. Pallbearers will be Ian Sinclair, Johnny Stove Jr., Farrel Desjarlais, Bruce Robson and Jeremy Sinclair.
