Larry Kevin Duck

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Larry Kevin Duck at the age of 47 years old at our home in Bloodvein First Nation.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children Nikisha (Jerret), Skylar (Breanne), and Cassidy. His older kids who he took as his own, Rene, Cornelia (David), Randy and Charles. His grandchildren Riley, Kaylum, Pontiac, Tyler; Jace, Seneca, Grayson, and Rosie. His sisters Heather and Rosemary. His brothers Keith and Wilfred (Eleanor).

He was predeceased by his partner of 27 years Phyllis Cameron; his brothers Henry (Geek) and Stephan (Paquake). His sisters Mary-Jane, Arlene and Christina. His parents Henry and Violet Duck; his in-laws Charlie and Martha Cameron.

He loved to play sports growing up right until he couldn’t play anymore, he was a goalie in hockey, he also played volleyball and baseball. He loved to play horseshoes for years alongside his partner. He loved fishing and would attend fishing derbies regularly. He loved to sing all his favorite songs especially to his grandchildren and as Mom (Phyllis) would say “broken record”.  The joys and memories he left are what we will cherish forever.

Wake service will be held on Tuesday August 13,2024 from 7 p.m.- 11 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue on Wednesday August 14,2024 at the Church on the Rock, Bloodvein First Nation. Service will follow on Thursday August 15,2024 also at the church. Pastor Roy M. and Vanessa officiating. Interment to follow.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Skylar, Jerret, Cassidy, Charles, Jarret, Antonio, Cornell and Benny.

He will be missed dearly by everyone who loved him.
