Lara Jayce Gauthier

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Lara Jayce Gauthier; June 1, 1996 – November 5, 2025.

Lara leaves to mourn her children, Abuya and King, her best friend Amane, her parents Beverly Gauthier, Boyd Bateman. Her brothers Norman Lecoy, Woden Bateman, and sister Nikita Bateman. Her stepsisters Anita and Crystal, nieces, nephews and cousins. Lara was predeceased by numerous family members as well as many of her friends.

Lara will be missed by all who knew her; she had the biggest heart and cared deeply for others. She was a very intelligent young lady who could and would find a solution to problems with much determination. She was also supported and played a big part in programs such as CEDVIP and Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Inc.

All the staff who knew her and were present in her life will miss her dearly and continue to shine and share her light.

There are so many words that will be left unspoken, and the sorrow many of us will continue to feel. Until we meet again my beautiful daughter.

Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2025, at the Eternal Grace funeral home at 1111 Logan Ave by McPhillips Street.

Viewing to start at 11am and the service at 12 noon with lunch to follow.

Cremation to follow.
