His final moments on earth were spent in the arms of his mother Angela Lavallee and father Danny Kirkness. Kyrel took his last breath surrounded by his aunties Natasha Lavallee, Shelly Lavallee, Leeah Lavallee, Shirley Olson, cousin Ethan Lavallee and Lorraine Crowe.

Kyrel will always be remembered and loved by his mother Angela Lavallee, father Danny Kirkness and siblings Season Lavallee, Kiana Lavallee, Tashanne Young, Katelyn Hart, Sky Hart, Roxy Kirkness, Kayne Kirkness and niece Jay Lavallee-Constant. He has many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, blood relatives, community family and close friends who will ensure his stories are passed on and who will honour his Thunder Being spirit. Blue Thunderbird Man is predeceased by his maternal and paternal great grandparents, niece Zaylynn Lavallee, cousin Shavonne “Slip” Flett, soul brother Larry Constant and many friends.

Kyrel was born in February of 1997 and spent most of his life in Winnipeg and The Pas, Manitoba. He had a passion for writing lyrics and sharing his voice by freestyling. Kyrel was known for carrying many conversations that had a focus on ancient Egypt mythology, aliens, marvel movies, documentaries, multi-dimensions and the mysterious paranormal powers of the world. Kyrel had a generous energy, and he would often give his clothes, money and food to those in need. Blue Thunderbird Man was a sacred fire keeper for his mother and ceremony relatives who were in protected fasting and full moon ceremonies. Kyrel had an adventurous life that took him across turtle island where he filled space sharing stories about humour, survival, hope, healing, love and making memorable connections.
