Kevin Sidney Joseph McKay

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Kevin Sidney Joseph McKay, who was born in Winnipeg, at the St. Boniface Hospital.

Kevin was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, who touched the lives of everyone. He had a passion for who enjoyed with those around him.

Kevin is survived by his parents Sharon Scott and Sidney Kevin McKay; his brothers Scott Green, Terrance McKay, and Elton Scott; his sisters McKayla McKay and Tessa McKay; his niece Aaliyah (Bird) Scott; his nephews Javon and Eziyah McKay; his uncles Conway, Darcey McKay, Lindsay, Elmer, Cornelius, Larry, and Bradley Scott: and his aunties Debbie McKay, Muriel, Zelma, Karen, Delilah, and Yvette Scott.

Kevin was predeceased by his sister Daisy Scott on August 1, 2024. His grandparents Maryanne & Joseph Green and Sidney & Evelyn McKay; his uncles Ellice Scott and Terrance Dale J. McKay; and his cousins Karrahlynn Keeper, Ryan Scott (Boulanger), and Trinity Scott-Young.

Kevin loved spending time with his siblings and loved listening to music and watching YouTube. He was an artist and was good at drawing and hoop dancing! He was a precious gift from God above.

He enjoyed watching wrestling with his brothers Terrance and Elton, and his sisters Tessa and McKayla at his mom’s place with munchies!

You’re going to be missed my son Kevin. Rest in peace, we know now that you are with your sister Daisy and many other family members. We love you and you will never be forgotten – forever in our hearts.

Wake services will be held on both Monday April 27, 2026, and Tuesday April 28, 2026, from 7pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg MB).

Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday April 29, 2026, from 11am – 3pm, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.
