Kenneth Chubb was born on February 24, 1964, in Oxford House, Manitoba to Donald and Shirley Chubb. He lived a life defined by love, strength, and generosity.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Amelia and Thomas Crane. Fredrick and Rebecca Chubb. His sister, Patsy. His brother Mark Chubb. His niece, Kristen Chubb. And his father Donald Chubb.
He leaves behind his mother, Shirley Chubb, his brothers Lawrence, Leslie, Luke, and Albert (Geraldine). His sisters Dorothy, Mary Rose, Audrey (Conway), and Linda. His nieces and nephews, Rhoda (Jason), Adele, Kevin, Freddy (Crystal), Dora, Bernita, Rebecca, Patsy, Steven, Preston, Tori, Tony, Jolene, Cory, Shawn, Chelsea, Rihanna, Brody, and Adrianna. Plus, many great grand nieces and nephews.
Whenever someone needed help, he would go out of his way to help. Throughout his life, he was a dedicated brother, son and uncle. He enjoyed his hobbies including singing country music. Cree hymns. Playing the guitar (which he taught himself). Bodybuilding. Creating art through his carpentry skills. And he idolized his celebrity hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the time we shared and the memories that will forever remain with us.
Wake service to be held on Wednesday Feb. 25, 2026, from 7pm – 10pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).
Funeral service to be held the following day Thursday Feb. 26, 2026, at 11am, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.
Officiating service is Rev. Brian Harper.
Burial at Brookside Cemetery to follow.
