Kendall “Burt” Cory Turtle
Eagle Boy
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend: Kendall “Burt” Cory Black Turtle of Hollow Water, treaty 5, on November 14, 2022. He was born November 18th, 2003, to Ken and Florence Turtle.
Kendall is survived by his several brothers and sisters as well as his father Ken. Florence (2017); his loving caregiver Kennedy/McDonald family; and his grandmother Victoria Turtle.
Kendall or “Burt” as he liked to be called was always a real joker and had an infectious laugh and smile that brighten any room. He was a sharp and inquisitive young man with an amazing memory for detail and a fantastic ability to use his charm to cause mischief and somehow not get into trouble with his family and caretakers. While Kendall faced a lot of extra challenges in life, he was a brave kid and never let them get him down or prevent him from living every day with a smile. Kendall you will never truly know the impact you had on the lives of everyone around you, filling our hearts with abundant love. We miss you immensely and know you are driving the biggest rig in your next adventure with your keys in hand. We can’t wait to see your smile again and hear all about your adventures. Until we meet again my boy.
Wake service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 6pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals.
Wake service to follow on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 4pm at the Band Hall, Hollow Water.
